The Venue

The Luberon is one of one of the most sought after tourist areas in France. This area, call it Northern Provence, boasts of temperate weather, beautiful scenery, and great food. It is also superbly situated for riding on two wheels.

We will be based at The hotel Mas de la Tour. Occupying both a 12th-century house and a newer annex, this traditional hotel was originally owned by the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque (monastery). It's 4.5 km from Roussillon's Sentier … Moredes Ocres (former ochre quarries) and 15 km from the hilltop village of Gordes.

Simple, Provençal-style rooms come with flat-screen TVs, free WiFi and minifridges. Many have terraces, while annex rooms open onto the gardens.

A great restaurant with 2 dining rooms and a tree-shaded terrace serves regional cuisine. Other amenities include an outdoor pool with a garden-view sundeck, and a piano bar with a billiards table.

It has recently been completely restored and also has one of the highest rated restaurants in the area.

We have reserved the entire facility for the 3 days, this means 20 rooms. Some are quite large and will be reserved for those willing to double up if necessary.There are also a number of B&Bs close by if we need some extra beds.
