This is nice little route just down the valley form the Dolomite magic circuit (Passo di Gardena, Passo di Stella, Passo di Pordoi, and the Passo Campolongo). This is a great road over to the Trentino valley and the reality of the real world.
 
A medium difficulty route, as it is quite narrow in places and the surface is not always the best. But for the most part another great riding road in the Dolomites. Riding from east to west, turn off the SS48 at Vigo di Fassa towards Bolzano. The East ramp winds up the mountain with a series of well formed corners. Once you get to the top of the east ramp, another Dolomite giant monolith pops out on the horizon just to remind you exactly where you are in the world.
 
There are a couple of restaurants close to the summit, seems to be a real destination. Dropping down to Bolzano you follow a river canyon below tree line that consists of a long string of gentle and high speed corners. We turned off at Ponte Nova, but you can go all the way to Bolzano on this route.
