EMM 2017- Picos de Europa

Welcome to the 12th annual European Multistrada Meeting

The 2016 EMM was hosted in The Luberon, down the road form Mt Ventoux and had participants from all over Europe, the slideshow photos should bring back some memories! We had some great riding, superb food and drink and most importantly a great ambience that naturally generates from this diverse but like minded group of people. For some highlights of this event and others past see about the EMM.

This year we are riding the Picos de Europa in northern Spain- 20 km inland from the northern coast of Spain, located in the Autonomous Communities of Asturias, Cantabria and Castile and León, forming part of the Cantabrian Mountains. A truly amazing area; almost a mini set of alps, with all the majesty but without the crowds and expense. There is some fabulous riding around the area and we are fortunate to have Juanpa with us, who lives close and organises regular events in the Picos. No doubt the road books will be epic.

We currently have reserved 27 rooms. Given the location, rooms are likely fill quickly, so if you want to join us, book it soon. Room priority will be given those in double rooms, then in order of booking.

In 2017 we are going to try a slightly different format. In most cases, participants take off a week off to attend the EMM so it hardly makes sent to run it over the weekend when roads carry more traffic and hotels/restaurants are in high demand. With that in mind we are going to start the event on Monday night and run through Thursday, giving everyone the change to make it home for the start of next week.

The EMM was truly special last year, 2017 promises to absolutly amazing
