Our advice is avoid the fast road ( not that it is fast) on the south side of the lake, and take a nice cruise the north side. It's a smaller road, but has the following advantages: it carries far less traffic, it's stunningly beautiful and is on the sunny side of the lake. There are many nice places to take a coffee or a lunch down on the side of the lake.
